Please read these terms and booking conditions carefully, as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by "uplanit.com"

Privacy Policy

uplanit.com does not share email addresses with anyone outside uplanit.com, nor impart your personal information to any third party other than what is necessary to secure your reservations with travel providers such as airlines, hotels, and car-rental agencies. We will provide only the necessary information to ensure your travel arrangements are confirmed with these travel providers. We will not share or sell any of your personal information, including your name, address, credit-card number, preferences, shopping or transaction history to any third party.

The only time we will send you an e-mail will be to confirm your reservations, provide update information about your travel and any information relevant to your travel. We will also send you our Newsletters, but only if you have subscribed to them to on our website.

Pricing

Prices are quoted in US Dollars. These are based on confidential contract prices provided by New Zealand, Australian and other suppliers of goods and services and therefore we cannot provide an itemized breakdown of component costs.

Prior to your full and final payment being received and deposited by "uplanit.com" all costs are subject to foreign currency fluctuations, increases by suppliers and changes to local taxes both in the U.S. and in the overseas countries you are visiting

Payment

A minimum non-refundable deposit of US$200.00 per person is due and payable at the time that you instruct "uplanit.com" to proceed with your reservations. Some individual resorts and cruises require additional deposits of which you will be notified, at time of booking.

Final payment is due no later than 60 days prior to departure.

For all bookings made within 60 days of departure from the U.S., full payment is required upon confirmation of your reservations. Payment of any money constitutes acceptance of all Terms and Conditions as described.

We accept credit card payments and for your protection we use the fully secured on-line services of Paypal to facilitate these. Personal checks and online bank transfers are also accepted.

Late Booking Fee

A U.S. $50 fee may be applied on bookings requested within 21 days prior to departure to cover international communications costs and overnight document delivery fees.

Booking Modifications

Once an itinerary has been confirmed and is under deposit or final payment any subsequent change required by the client will incur a change fee of $50.00 for each change. If such changes require the re-issue of travel documents a document fee of $100.00 will apply. If airline tickets require re-issue an additional ticketing fee could be imposed by the airline providing carriage.

Cancellations

If it is necessary for you to cancel confirmed tour arrangements for any reason, cancellation fees will apply in addition to the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations received within 59 days and 31 days prior to departure from the U.S., will attract cancellation fees equal to 25% of total tour costs, as well as any fees imposed by our contracted suppliers

Cancellations received within 30 days and 15 days prior to departure from the U.S., will attract cancellation fees equal to 50% of total tour costs, as well as any fees imposed by our contracted suppliers.

Cancellations received within 14 days of departure from the U.S., will attract a 100% cancellation fee of the total tour costs.

We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover situations where you might be forced to cancel your travel because of situations beyond your control.

Refunds

Any booking cancelled, amended or altered within 14 days of your departure will not qualify for a refund. Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be made for any unused portion of the tour arrangements unless the service is cancelled and a refund has been authorized by the supplier who was providing the service.

Travel Insurance

To protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances that might force you to change or cancel your vacation plans we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

Travel Documents

All passengers require a valid passport for travel to all or any country in the South Pacific and most will require an electronically issued entry visa if visiting Australia.

"uplanit.com" and participating airlines are not responsible if tour participants fail to obtain all necessary international travel documents.

Not Included

Costs of passports, visas, and other items of a personal nature such as laundry, meals, tours, and services not specified in the tour itinerary.

"uplanit.com", their agents and/or suppliers of service pursuant to in connection with these tours arrangements act only as an agent of the suppliers in making arrangements for any and all services and does not assume any liability whatsoever for injury, damage, death, loss accident or delay to person or property due to any act of default of any hotels, carriers, restaurants, companies or person rendering any of the services included in the tours, or by force majeure. We cannot assume any responsibility for flight delays, cancellations or missed connections and are not liable for any expenses or resulting consequences. Such expenses shall be borne by the client. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any cancellations, delays, price increases or other alterations to your tour caused by circumstances beyond our immediate control including but not limited to sickness, injury, quarantine, disease, weather conditions, natural disasters, war or threat of war, riots, terrorist activity, strikes, airport closure, delays or changes in air or other services, pilferage, monetary crisis or any other reasons beyond our control. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the tour passenger. "uplanit.com" shall accept no responsibility for damage or loss of passenger's luggage or personal effects. We reserve the right to change itineraries or hotels from those listed at any time or for any reason. We reserve the right to withdraw any tour should such conditions warrant it. In such instances "uplanit.com" will immediately notify passengers and offer an alternative of comparable standard or refund full amount paid us.
